New Stitch TSA Security Baskets Added to Orlando International Airport

The TSA baskets used at Orlando International Airport (MCO) have recently received a Disney-themed refresh, as several of the plastic bins are now sporting cute images of Stitch.

In a recent update to Orlando International Airport, the TSA baskets used for guests being screened at the security checkpoints have been refreshed with new Disney images. Specifically, the baskets are now themed to the upcoming live-action version of “Lilo and Stitch.”

Each bin is still a standard white color on the base and sides, but the center now has an image of Stitch in his live-action form sitting in the middle of a messy suitcase. The suitcase is filled with beach items like flippers, towels, a snorkel, and a beach ball.

Bold red text above the suitcase warns guests “Don’t Leave Luggage Unattended.” The side of the bin above Stitch’s head has the film’s official logo with the May 23 theater premiere date. More “Lilo and Stitch” logos along with “May 23” are repeated in a pattern around the edges of the bin’s exterior.

The Orlando International Airport has not yet released any information on the addition of the Stitch baskets or how long they are planned to be in use, but we expect it will be at least through the premiere of the live-action film later this month.

Stitch has also recently been added to the photo op background at the Disney Springs PhotoPass Studio and a collection of pastel-colored Stitch apparel. We have also received a clip from the new “Lilo and Stitch” live-action film and a first look at its accompanying movie theater popcorn bucket.
