Partial Float Order Revealed for New Disney Starlight Nighttime Parade in Magic Kingdom

Disney has shared the partial float order for the new Disney Starlight: Dream the Night Away parade, coming soon to Walt Disney World.

Disney Starlight Parade Order

A magical scene unfolds under the Disney Starlight, with a fairy in a glowing blue dress, two characters flying, and another in a snowflake-themed outfit near an enchanting castle, all set against a starry night sky.

A new post on the Disney Parks Blog has shared a few more details about the Disney Starlight: Dream the Night Away nighttime parade.

The post lists the order the floats will appear in the new parade as follows:

  • The Blue Fairy
  • Peter Pan & Wendy
  • Asha (from “Wish”)
  • La Familia Madrigal (Mirabel, Isabella, Bruno)
  • Elsa
  • Aurora and Prince Phillip, Tiana and Prince Naveen, Belle and the Beast, and Cinderella and Prince Charming
  • Miguel and Pepita
  • Moana

The post notes that “There’s still more to come to this magical list, but this is the order you can look for soon!”

Based on Disney’s wording, this list is incomplete, as it only includes the order of the floats that have already been previewed with official concept art. It is anticipated that Disney Starlight will have a few more floats that are still being kept secret for now.

Disney Starlight: Dream the Night Away is a new nighttime parade first announced by Disney at D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event in 2024. It will be Magic Kingdom’s first nighttime parade in nearly 10 years and is scheduled to debut sometime this summer. Disney has previously shared several pieces of concept art as well as the parade’s official poster.

An additional description in the article mentions that the parade will be inspired by the nighttime spectaculars of the past:

With several members of the creative team having worked on fan-favorites such as “Main Street Electrical Parade” and “SpectroMagic,” you will see the inspiration from ever-iconic electrical parades of years past. “Disney Starlight: Dream the Night Away” recalls the nostalgia of nighttime spectaculars with innovation lighting the way for a magical experience like never before.

The parade was already added to the Walt Disney World website in February and the My Disney Experience app in March, leading to some speculation that the parade may be close to getting a debut date. Disney has still not made any official date announcement, though current Magic Kingdom schedule changes have suggested the parade may begin running in July.

Other new entertainment offerings coming this summer to Walt Disney World include Disney Villains: Unfairly Ever After and The Little Mermaid – A Musical Adventure, both of which are opening at Disney’s Hollywood Studios on May 27.
