Hello, this is your one and only Nana.
Long time, no see, again… I know… I’ve been running around all over. Most likely, I will keep running until MuppetVision 3D closes or maybe until Disney Starlight: Dream the Night Away starts.
Anyways! I flew back from Anaheim this morning to attend a special event at Disney Springs. Well, getting back to Orlando this morning was pretty adventurous, but I will talk about that in another Nana’s death note princess diary: Disneyland 70th edition.
Aloha from Disney Springs

Disney invited us for an exclusive screening of the “Lilo & Stitch” live-action movie! As a person who grew up in Hawaii, I was pretty excited about the movie and this island-style celebration.

We must throw shakas when we’re taking pictures, ya? (808 all day.)

As you walked in, there were lots of Lilo & Stitch collaboration merchandise and snacks.

They even had a snack stand full of Stitch snacks and candies!
Do you see the mini candy fan? Oh, they came in super handy! While I was away, Orlando got hotter.
Today’s drinks: Aloha Strawberry Lemonade and Tropical Trouble Punch.

I liked Aloha Strawberry Lemonade a lot. It was so refreshing! Tropical Trouble Punch was a little bit sweet for me. But you know me, I am not a big fan of sweets.
They had some pupu (Pupu: Party food/ appetizers in Hawaiian terms).

Some part of me was looking for Spam musubi, but it’s fine, I got to eat spring rolls.
I should have brought the Keiki (Kids in Hawaiian) reporter today. We have a few keiki reporters in WDWNT, and they love reporting too. A Keiki reporter, Leilani, LOVES Stitch. She will be mad if she finds out she missed this event.
(Editor’s note: They’re kids of our staff who get to tag along on outings sometimes; I promise we don’t actually make them work.)

BASIN and Stitch collab!

They got lip balm and star-shaped hand soap! I love BASIN soap; it is not cheap, but I keep buying it. The smell is incredible.
Nana’s biggest finds of the day…

This Stitch is from Build-A-Bear Workshop!!!! You think it’s just a plush, right?

HE IS A GIANT PLUSH that you can make at Build-A-Bear Workshop. They don’t sell them at the store, so you need to order from their website and bring the stuffless stitch to the shop and make it! (You have an option to ship it to your home with stuff in it, too.)
Here comes Stitch and Pandora’s collab.

I have avoided all the Pandora until last year… But once you buy Pandora… You are not going back… I keep buying charms!! (Yes, I bought a new Disneyland 70th charm.)
After we got to enjoy pupu and some products, we got escorted to the AMC Dining theater.

We had a whole theater for us! AAAANNNNDDDDD!

We got gifted a Stitch popcon bucket/sipper (he’s 2 in 1), a blanket, and a goodie bag! I have been collecting popcorn buckets for over 10 years now. Now he is added to my collection.
Nana is in heaven with a super soft blanket and Stitch.

We also got popcorn and drinks! The movie was FANTASTIC! As a former Oahu resident, I was happy to see my home and hear some pidgin in the movie, It made me want to dance hula again. Also, made me love Stitch more. I must go see him in Magic Kingdom and let him know.
Mahalo to Disney for inviting us, we had a great time.
Lilo & Stitch live-action movie will be only in theaters from May 23; I must take our Keiki reporter to watch it again!
Thank you for reading Nana’s Princess Diary, and see you real soon!
Have a magical day.
