As part of Cool Kid Summer at Walt Disney World Resort, hotel guests can enjoy 30 minutes of early theme park entry, as well as special character appearances during that time.
Early Entry Character Encounters for Cool Kid Summer
Magic Kingdom
At Magic Kingdom, these early entry character encounters will take place in Fantasyland. For the duration of Cool Kid Summer, hotel guests can meet:
- Tiana and Naveen
- Elena of Avalor
- Chip and Dale
- Rapunzel and Flynn Rider
- Mickey Mouse
- Pluto
- Mr. Smee
EPCOT
In EPCOT, characters will roam World Celebration. These include:
- Mickey Mouse
- Minnie Mouse
- Goofy
- Bruno
- Mirabel
Disney’s Hollywood Studios
At Disney’s Hollywood Studios, early entry character encounters will be offered in the breezeway leading toward the entrance of Toy Story Land. Guests will be able to meet the following characters:
- Goofy
- Max
- Chip and Dale
Disney’s Animal Kingdom
Finally, hotel guests visiting Disney’s Animal Kingdom for early entry can find Mickey and Minnie in their safari outfits on Discovery Island, out in front of the Tree of Life. During regular park hours, this pair meets in Adventurers Outpost.

Cool Kid Summer offers several new entertainment offerings, including the new stage shows “The Little Mermaid – A Musical Adventure” and “Disney Villains: Unfairly Ever After,” “Get Animated” entertainment at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, DJ dance parties in Magic Kingdom featuring Pluto and Stitch, a Dino Institute intern sing-a-long and a new Wilderness Explorers badge, new and returning Magic Shots, and character appearances at Disney Resort hotels.
