The Savannah Bananas and fellow Banana Ball team, the Firefighters, held a special dance performance in front of Sleeping Beauty Castle at Disneyland.
Savannah Bananas & Firefighters Dance Performance
The dance performance was at 11 a.m. on May 28 before a Savannah Bananas cavalcade at 12:30 p.m.
The Savannah Bananas exited Sleeping Beauty Castle to the Disneyland 70th anniversary theme song, “Celebrate Happy” by the Jonas Brothers. An announcer introduced them one group at a time as the pitchers, outfielders, infielders, coaches, and entertainers. One such entertainer was on stilts.
Jesse Cole, the owner of the Savannah Bananas and the creator of Banana Ball, then arrived with Mickey & Friends.

He introduced the Firefighters, and they all launched into a dance to the DJ Ötzi cover of “Hey! Baby” by Bruce Channel.
Cole then gave a speech about how Walt Disney inspired Banana Ball and what a dream come true it was to dance at Disneyland.

The teams then took a group photo and walked through the crowd, saying hello and giving high-fives to fans.
