Walt Disney World has announced that the run of the “Portraits of Courage: A Commander in Chief’s Tribute to America’s Warriors” exhibit, featuring portraits painted by former President George W. Bush, has been extended.

In a post on the Disney Parks Blog, Walt Disney World shared that the exhibit was recently extended, and will remain at EPCOT through next spring.

I am grateful these portraits of our nation’s service members, painted by their former Commander-in-Chief, will continue to be available for guests to view at the American Adventure Pavilion at Disney’s EPCOT.

Sharing veterans’ stories reminds all of us of their incredible courage, sacrifice, and resilience in defense of our nation – and of their continued contributions to our communities beyond their time in uniform.

The exhibit features more than 60 oil portraits of service members and veterans who have served since 9/11, and whom Bush has come to know personally since leaving office. The collection is housed in The American Adventure pavilion in World Showcase, and first debuted last June.
