The purple Disney Vacation Club (DVC) apparel collection has made its way to the Disneyland Resort, including a new Minnie ear headband, Loungefly mini backpack, and more.
We found all of the new items at Acorns Gifts & Goods in Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa.
DVC Minnie Ear Headband – $34.99
The first new item is a purple, sequin-covered Minnie ear headband. Both the ears and side of the band are a dark indigo purple color with small sequins covering most of the fabric. The interior of the headband is a plain purple fabric.
The bow is made of a semi-shiny purple satin fabric. The middle of the bow has a silver charm shaped like a Mickey icon with a globe in the center. The icon is nearly identical to the official DVC Mickey globe logo.
Both sides of the ears are covered in purple sequins. The edges of the round ears are detailed with a single line of clear beads.
The right side of the headband has a silver logo sewn on the side with the full Disney Vacation Club Member wordmark and another Mickey globe icon.
Loungefly Mini Backpack – $100
The next item is a new Loungefly mini backpack. The styling of the backpack is very similar to the ear headband, so the items could easily be worn together as a set. Like the ear headband, the backpack is all a deep purple color and covered with sequins.
The usual Disney Parks | Loungefly tag is attached to the front of the bag, just below another purple satin bow. Like the headband, the center of the bow is a silver charm of the DVC globe icon. There are also two round ears attached on either side of the backpack, but these are simply covered in purple sparkly fabric without the sequins.
The style and shape of the bag are standard for a Loungefly mini backpack, with a smaller zipper pouch on the front, a main zipper across the top, and two slip pockets on either side. The zippers are all silver. The back of the bag is covered in plain purple pleather material without the added sparkle.
DVC Long Sleeve Shirt – $59.99
While not covered in sequins, this long-sleeved shirt is the same purple color as the previous two items. The front is mostly plain, but the DVC Mickey globe icon is printed in sparkly purple puffy ink on the left chest.
The back of the shirt has “Disney Vacation Club Member” written in bold letters across the back, similar in style to a Spirit Jersey without going over the shoulders. The shirt is made of slightly thicker fabric than a regular T-shirt and has seams added to both sleeves.
We previously found all three of these purple DVC items at Walt Disney World. Disneyland has also recently previewed a new Magic Key Insulated Cooler Bag for holding popcorn or bottled beverages.
