REVIEW: New Jungle Freeze Lemonade Topped With Freeze Dried Skittles at Disney’s Animal Kingdom

Joffrey’s has crafted the Jungle Freeze, a new frozen lemonade drink topped with SKITTLES POP’d, which Disney guests can find at Disney’s Animal Kingdom.

People wait in line at Jungle Freeze, an outdoor coffee and snack kiosk surrounded by palm trees and greenery.

The Jungle Freeze is currently being sold at the Joffrey’s Coffee & Tea Company kiosk between security and the Disney’s Animal Kingdom main entrance.

This drink is sort of interactive. It starts out as a solid yellow color. As the frozen Skittles begin to melt, the rainbow colors bleed into the drink. We don’t know if that’s purposeful, but it’s a fun effect nonetheless.

Given the ingredients list, we were afraid this drink would be very tart. If you start drinking it right away, it probably would be. But if you give it a few minutes, allowing the Skittles to melt a bit, the flavors will mix. The combination of drink and Skittles provides a sweetness that offsets the tartness.

This is a pleasant, refreshing drink. We wouldn’t go out of our way to get it, but if you’re walking into or out of Animal Kingdom, it’s a nice option to help you cool down.
