Construction work continues in Toy Story Land as more seating by Woody’s Lunch Box begins to take shape and the scrim on the mural has finally been removed.
Woody’s Lunch Box Construction

In the first of a few changes to Toy Story Land at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, the wall of scrim around the building by the exit of Toy Story Mania! has been removed.

The land to the side of the attraction’s queue was cleared in 2022 to make way for the extended Woody’s Lunch Box seating area, and this mural section has been blocked by scrims for several weeks. The mural shows several cooking supplies in a cartoon-style illustration wrapped with a lasso. The icons include a cooking pot, steak, cups, jerky, coffee, beans, ladle, skillet, fire, and more.

Meanwhile, progress is also being made on the extended seating area by Woody’s Lunch Box. This section close to the guest walkway appears nearly complete, and we may see another seating section opened to guests in the coming weeks.

Through the rolling planters, it appears this area is being cleared of construction tools and prepared for tables to be added. The railing on the edges of the concrete has been installed, and only a few ladders remain.

One section to the side of the mostly-complete area looks like another new roof structure may be added.

There are some new blue support posts added since our last construction update. These posts are currently not attached to anything, but do have some cables hanging off of the sides.

The existing structure nearest to the available seating is the closest to completion. All of the blue plastic panels on this side are now complete.

This structure is still waiting for light fixtures to be installed, and wrapped cables are still hanging out of several of the building toy-style holes.

Over on the far side, this right structure is still not covered with panels yet. A few blue panels have been added on the lower back half, but the front is still plain metal beams.
