Although “The Little Mermaid – A Musical Adventure” doesn’t open until May 27, guests will now see it among the eligible experiences listed for Lightning Lane Multi Pass. Lightning Lane pricing varies by date, with Multi Pass reaching its highest price ever last Christmas. Multi Pass is the rebranded Genie+, which replaced free FastPasses in 2021.

At Walt Disney World, Lightning Lane Multi Pass is available for one park and one day at a time. It allows guests to select Lightning Lane return times for multiple attractions. When purchasing, guests can choose up to 3 attractions and arrival windows but there are different attraction tiers. Guests can only choose one attraction at a time from the higher tier. We don’t yet know which tier “The Little Mermaid – A Musical Adventure” will fall under, but mostly likely the lower tier, which includes all other stage shows. “The Little Mermaid – A Musical Adventure” replaces “Voyage of The Little Mermaid,” which never reopened after shutting down in 2020. The new show retains some of the old show’s elements, including puppets. The new marquee was recently installed in Animation Courtyard. See the full list of showtimes and check out a first look at “The Little Mermaid – A Musical Adventure” featuring an appearance by Jodi Benson, the voice of Ariel.

Although it opens on the same day, “Disney Villains: Unfairly Ever After” isn’t listed under any Lightning Lane offerings yet. Disney may expect the Villains show to be more popular and initially offer it via Lightning Lane Single Pass.
