Universal Orlando Resort will livestream the grand opening celebration of Universal Epic Universe on Wednesday, May 21.

Blue carpet coverage will start at 6 p.m. EST with the official celebration kicking off at 7 p.m. EST. Fans can sign up for an email reminder to join the virtual livestream and receive other updates and offers.
Epic Universe officially opens to the public on May 22. There have been several weeks of technical rehearsal previews, coming to an end on May 19.
The five “worlds” of Epic Universe are Celestial Park, How to Train Your Dragon – Isle of Berk, The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Ministry of Magic, Dark Universe, and Super Nintendo World.
How to Train Your Dragon – Isle of Berk features dragon encounters, “The Untrainable Dragon” stage show, the Fyre Drill water ride, and the coaster Hiccup’s Wing Gliders. The Wizarding World transports guests to 1920s Paris for Le Cirque Arcanus and then to the trial of Dolores Umbridge for Harry Potter and the Battle at the Ministry. In Dark Universe, guests can meet Universal Monsters and encounter them on the rides Monsters Unchained: The Frankenstein Experiment and Curse of the Werewolf. Super Nintendo World includes Yoshi’s Adventure, Mario Kart: Bowser’s Challenge, and Mine-Cart Madness.
