New Look for Jack Skellington in Disney Parks

In a post on the Disney Parks Instagram account, Disney has revealed a new look for Jack Skellington, featuring a more accurate, full head, rather than the half-mask performers have worn in the past. It’s difficult to say just how articulated this new head may be in this short video, but at the very least, we can tell that the mouth moves and can smile and open.
It also appears that Sally’s appearance has gotten a refresh as well, dropping the blue circles around her eyes and bright red lipstick for just stitches on her face and a dark lip with black liner.
These new looks were teased as part of Monday morning’s announcements related to Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party returning for 2025, including ticket details and confirmed entertainment offerings. It is likely that this new look for the couple will also make its way to Disneyland Resort eventually.
Above is how Jack and Sally previously appeared in the parks. Sally’s look remains mostly the same, with a few differences in makeup. Jack, though, looks completely different.
Here, the performer wears a half-mask that is comprised of Jack’s eyes, nose holes, and the upper parts of his smile. An opening at the chin allows the performer to speak and interact with guests, but makes Jack’s head more diamond-shaped rather than round, as it is in the film.
