The Disneyland Resort 70th Anniversary Celebration kicked off this past week, and even Stitch is getting in on the fun — a new video shared to social media shows the lovable blue alien wreaking havoc in the park.
This video features the realistically animated Stitch from the upcoming live-action remake of the 2002 animated film. The new take on the story is directed by Dean Fleischer Camp (“Marcel the Shell with Shoes On”) and features Chris Sanders returning as the voice of Stitch.
Stitch Takes Over Disneyland 70th Anniversary Celebration

In the video, shared on the official Instagram accounts for Disneyland, Disney D23, Walt Disney Studios, and Disney Parks, Stitch literally crash-lands in Disneyland Park in the midst of its 70th anniversary celebration. He immediately runs over to a pink and purple-frosted birthday cake and blows out the “70” candle before knocking it over.

Not one to miss out on a photo, Stitch then crashes a photoshoot with Mickey and Minnie in their new 70th anniversary outfits, leading to some adorably chaotic shots.

The next series of clips sees Stitch enjoying Disneyland Park to its fullest, from trying to pull the Sword from the Stone, licking the glass of a popcorn cart, and getting a splashdown photo on Tiana’s Bayou Adventure (he got the front seat of the log, of course).
He also eventually pulled the Sword from the Stone!
The ad closes out with Stitch running into the Emporium to get his own Disneyland 70 Celebration Collection ear hat, customizable bubble wand, and the popular Key to Disneyland toy. From the video, it looks as though he’s already unlocked all of the lands.
