There’s another fresh patch of concrete on the walkway outside Fairytale Garden in Magic Kingdom.

In February of this year, pavement work began on the guest walkway located outside Fairytale Garden. This is the spot in Magic Kingdom where guests can currently meet Mirabel from “Encanto.” Since then, a stretch of the pavement on the Tomorrowland/Fantasyland walkway leading towards Cheshire Cafe also has been replaced. The new patch of fresh concrete is found between Fairytale Garden and the nearby bridge.

The new section pavement was roped-off, as the concrete finished drying on Wednesday morning. It currently looks almost black, but the color will be lighter when it dries. The updated section runs up to a curb around a flowerbed at the end of the bridge.

This recent update indicates pavement work still isn’t complete in the area surrounding Fairytale Garden. The gray pavement between this fresh spot and the bridge is old, as is the pavement of the Mirabel meet and greet queue leading up to Cinderella Castle. Both are still a significantly lighter gray than the new pavement. As a result, more stanchions or construction walls may appear in this section of the park in the future.
