American flag banners now hang on The Hall of Presidents and Liberty Tree Tavern in Magic Kingdom ahead of Fourth of July celebrations.
American Flags in Liberty Square
The flags are inspired by the original 1777 Betsy Ross flags, featuring 13 white stars in a circle instead of today’s 50 stars. There are two banners on the center two columns of The Hall of Presidents facade. The show remains closed, but its lobby reopened earlier this month.
There are four Betsy Ross flag banners on the columns of Liberty Tree Tavern. To fit their vertical orientation, the flags have five red and white stripes instead of the standard 13.
Patriotic bunting went up on Main Street, U.S.A. last month for Memorial Day and remains up for Independence Day.
Disney confirmed the performance times for “Disney’s Celebrate America! – A Fourth of July Concert in the Sky” at Magic Kingdom on July 3 and 4. The Fourth of July nighttime spectacular temporarily replaces “Happily Ever After” on those dates. Watch our video of the show below.
