Disney has announced that a new pool area will be coming to Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort. The Meadow Swimmin’ Pool area at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground is being expanded.

New Fort Wilderness Zero-Entry Pool
According to Disney Parks Blog, the resort will get a new zero-entry pool and deck area alongside the existing pool, effectively doubling the space. The expansion will also include a tennis court and two pickleball courts.
Here’s the statement from Disney:
“There’s more magic on the horizon: At Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground, we’re expanding the Meadow Swimmin’ Pool area to make room for even more fun and relaxation.
A brand-new zero-entry pool and deck area is being added alongside the existing pool, effectively doubling the space for guests to enjoy. The expansion will also include a tennis court and two pickleball courts, giving families even more ways to play together in the great outdoors.“
Will the Meadow Swimmin’ Pool and Wilderness Swimmin Pool Remain Open?
The Walt Disney World website states construction began near Meadow Swimmin’ Pool last month. Meadow Swimmin’ Pool and Wilderness Swimmin’ Pool will remain open during work.

Disney Fort Wilderness Meadow Swimmin’ Pool and Wilderness Swimmin’ Pool
Meadow Swimmin’ Pool has a 67-foot-long corkscrew waterslide, a whirlpool spa, and a fort-themed water play area. The pool area hosts family-friendly activities like themed parties with games, relays, and trivia. The Meadow recreation area is near Meadow Trading Post, near the campground, while the Wilderness Swimmin’ Pool is among The Cabins. The map above shows the Meadow area with its current offerings.
Disney Lakeshore Lodge Construction Update
Disney Lakeshore Lodge is also under construction next to Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort. The new Disney Vacation Club resort is rumored to have an extensive pool area including a lazy river.
