The complimentary towels are now available for use by all guests at the Walt Disney World water parks. Previously, the towels were only for resort hotel guests.
WDWNT confirmed with Cast Members at Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon that the towels are available for all guests there and at Blizzard Beach. Signs are posted to direct guests to the pickup locations. Reportedly, the limitation was removed due to an increased volume of complaints.
In the past, towel rentals were available to non-resort guests for a small fee.
This summer marks the first time in over five years that both Walt Disney World water parks are operating simultaneously. Both parks opened for the season on May 21, 2025.
Though the towels may be for everyone now, resort hotel guests can still take advantage of an exclusive perk. All guests now have free admission to one water park of their choosing on their check-in day. Disney has confirmed that this benefit will continue to be offered in 2026.
