Though Disney has not officially announced Disney Jollywood Nights will return to Disney’s Hollywood Studios this year, they have posted two casting calls for the holiday event, confirming it’s coming back.
Disney Jollywood Nights Casting Calls
The two casting calls on the Disney Auditions website are for vocalists and dancers, with auditions due by 11:30 p.m. ET on Monday, June 23, 2025.
The postings are for “Disney Holidays in Hollywood,” although the show is not mentioned by name. This description is included:
Theatre of the Stars plays host to an all-new stage show rooted in the glitz and glamor of vintage Hollywood television specials, with a contemporary twist of Disney holiday magic. Famous Muppets Kermit the Frog and Miss Piggy will be special guests in this star-studded production, which features appearances by Tiana, Belle, Minnie Mouse, and Mickey Mouse. Joined by a talented cast of singers, dancers and live jazz musicians, the show is sure to get you in the spirit of the holidays with a toe tapping, heartwarming, jolly good time.
This description suggests the show will remain approximately the same, with Miss Piggy and Kermit hosting and performances by Tiana, Belle, and Mickey and Minnie. There were only slight changes between the show’s 2023 debut and 2024 return.
Both postings say performers will be under seasonal contracts between October and December 2025. October would likely be for rehearsals, while the event would be in November and December. Last year’s Jollywood Nights was on select nights from November 9 through December 21.
Disney is seeking vocalists specifically for Tiana and Belle, as well as mezzo sopranos and tenor crooners to be backup singers. The descriptions confirm Belle will still sing “As Long As There’s Christmas.” For the auditions, backup vocalists are instructed to perform “Feliz Navidad” or “It’s the Most Wonderful Time of the Year,” while Tiana performers should sing “Dig A Little Deeper” and Belle performers sing “Somewhere Over the Rainbow,” even though those aren’t the songs they perform.
As for dancers, performers are asked to perform a “Holidays in Hollywood” dance, but to generic music, not holiday songs.
