The new book is titled “Disneyland is Your Land!” and features illustrations by Scott Tilley and Nick Balian. It is currently priced at $5.99 for either the hardcover or Kindle version and is set to be released on August 12, 2025. The Amazon description of the new book reads:

The cover art features Mickey alongside Minnie, Donald, Daisy, and Goofy standing in front of Sleeping Beauty Castle. The group is dressed in bright red band outfits with gold accents, as opposed to their official Disneyland 70th costumes. Mickey is acting as the band’s leader, while the others play instruments. Daisy is holding up a bright yellow flag that makes up the rest of the book’s title below the official Disneyland wordmark. The background, including the cartoon-style image of the castle, is in shades of pink, blue, and purple that match the official anniversary colors.

While perhaps not intentionally related, Mickey and his friends did march alongside the real Disneyland Band as part of the first day activities for the Disneyland 70th Celebration. The Disneyland 70th anniversary celebrations began on May 16 and are scheduled to run through the summer of 2026.

People gather outside a castle decorated with pink and blue banners celebrating Disney's 70th anniversary.

The cover art was also shared in an Instagram post by illustrator Nick Balian, who expressed thanks to his mentor Scott Tilley and described how the title comes directly from the park’s dedication.

“To all who come to this happy place: Welcome.” The next line of Walt Disney’s iconic opening day dedication of Disneyland, serves as the title of our upcoming Little Golden Book, “Disneyland Is Your Land!”

My amazing mentor, Scott Tilley and I created this lush and nostalgic book in honor of Disneyland’s 70th Anniversary. Here’s a peek at the newly released cover art (illustrated by Scott)!

I can’t wait for readers to savor all the fun we’ve poured into every page, which features Walt’s opening day dedication message throughout.

The preview does not yet include any of the interior pages, but we expect to see more of Mickey and his friends enjoying a day at Disneyland Park.

This is far from the first Little Golden Book that has been themed to the Disney parks. Previous books from the collection have included Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, the Haunted Mansion, Figment, and several more.
