Final Show Wristbands Almost Gone and Extended Queue Set Up for Last Day of MuppetVision 3D and Pizzerizzo

In preparation for the expected massive crowd of guests who want to be among the last to experience MuppetVision 3D, Cast Members in Disney’s Hollywood Studios are handing out wristbands and have set up an extended queue.

Final Day of MuppetVision 3D

MuppetVision 3D’s final day of operation at Disney’s Hollywood Studios is today, June 7, 2025. The attraction and the nearby Pizzerizzo restaurant are both set to be transformed into Monstroplis for the upcoming Monsters Inc. land that will include a new hanging door coaster with Disney’s first-ever vertical lift. Mama Melrose’s Ristorante Italiano, also in the Grand Avenue section of the park, closed permanently last month. It seems Disney is aware that many guests will want to experience MuppetVision 3D on its final day, with preparations including a final show wristband and extended queues.

A staff member puts a wristband on a guest at a table with a sign and clipboard against a brick wall.

First, a new folding table has been set up to the left of the MuppetVision 3D main theater entrance. A Cast Member stationed at this table is handing out yellow plastic wristbands to specifically mark guests who will be able to participate in the final showing. A green sign perched on the table reminds guests with the wristband to return at 10 p.m. While MuppetVision 3D normally closes one hour earlier than the full park closing time, it is remaining open for an extra hour for its last day.

Of course, guests in the final public showing are technically not going to be the final MuppetVision 3D audience. Disney has already scheduled a special Cast Member event on June 10 at the theater that is rumored to be the true final showing.

When we arrived right after park open, there was already a group of guests waiting in line to receive their wristbands. According to a nearby Cast Member, the wristbands are expected to run out around 9:30 a.m. eastern at the current rate.

The line for the wristbands wraps around the left corner of the theater building, towards the show’s exit area.

Perhaps in anticipation of longer lines later today, the backstage area behind MuppetVision 3D has been opened. This path is normally blocked from guests by the painted gate seen on either side of the above image.

A small section of stanchions has been set up near this back path, perhaps to keep guests in the line from standing in the show’s exit area.

Since the line for MuppetVision 3D is expected to get longer as the day unfolds, the extended queue on the right side of the theater is also all open.

This right side of the building is just as themed as the rest of the interior with hidden Muppets details. Fake movie posters on this right side parody famous films with an added Kermit twist, such as “Wild Frogs” and “Pirates of the Amphibian: At Wit’s End.”

While much of today’s focus is on MuppetVision 3D, June 7 also marks the final day of operation for Pizzerizzo. Cast Members appear to have also anticipated longer than normal lines for the famous “Rat Pizza,” as another area of stanchions has been set up to the right side of the restaurant.

This extended queue wraps around the circular planter on the right and goes up to the facade of the It’s a Wonderful Shop Christmas store facade.

WDWNT is now mostly through “A Glorious Finale,” our special goodbye event from June 5-7. This event has included a meet and greet plus autograph signing with former Imagineers, as well as a day packed with panels and presentations about the creation of MuppetVision 3D. Online streaming tickets are still available on our event website, which also includes more information.
