FIRST LOOK at New Costumes for Mickey & Minnie Plus More Details for Halloween Time at Disneyland Resort

Disneyland Resort has confirmed more details for Halloween Time 2025 and shared a first look at new costumes for Mickey & Minnie. Halloween Time begins on August 22 and runs through October 31.

New Costumes

Their new outfits are purple and bright green with orange and black accents. Mickey has a pointed hat and robe, while Minnie has a ruffled dress. She’s also wearing tennis shoes instead of her regular heels.

Halloween Time at Disneyland Park

A two-story building is decorated with Halloween and Christmas elements, illuminated in green and blue lights, featuring a prominent jack-o'-lantern figure dressed as Santa Claus in the front.

At Disneyland park, several returning Halloween offerings were confirmed. Haunted Mansion Holiday, a “Nightmare Before Christmas” overlay of the iconic attraction, will be back. At night, the Halloween Screams spectacular will take over Sleeping Beauty Castle.

Haul-o-Ween returns to Cars Land with punny decor and two ride overlays: Luigi’s Honkin’ Haul-O-Ween and Mater’s Graveyard JamBOOree.

“Mickey’s Trick or Treat” will take over temporarily from the upcoming “Disney Jr. Mickey Mouse Clubhouse Live!”

Plaza de la Familia

The Plaza de la Familia featuring “Coco” will return from August 22 through November 2. “Storytellers of Plaza de la Familia Celebrate the Musical World of Coco!,” will also return. A new “Coco” merchandise collection will debut in September.

Food & Beverages

A bun cut into four pieces with jalapeños and seasoning, served on a board—perfect for Halloween Time at Disneyland Resort.

Specialty food and beverages will be available, including the returning Oogie Boogie Lemonade and the new jalapeño-cream cheese bread (pictured above).

Merchandise

New merchandise will be available including the Mickey Mouse Family Halloween collection pictured. More collections will be released as well, and will be found in World of Disney in the Downtown Disney District, Elias & Co. at Disney California Adventure park, and Emporium on Main Street, U.S.A., in Disneyland.

Pluto’s Pumpkin Pursuit

Pluto’s Pumpkin Pursuit is a scavenger hunt activity where guests can purchase a map and receive a prize. It will be available this year starting August 29 – October 31.

Disneyland Resort Hotels

Characters will be in their Halloween attire, and you can meet them at Goofy’s Kitchen Celebrates Halloween and at Mickey’s Autumn Adventures at Storytellers Cafe.

Overnight guests at the three hotels can enjoy special perks, such as treat trails on select afternoons and the option to purchase a Halloween-themed in-room celebration, which includes festively themed gift baskets and decorations.

Sign for "Broken Spell Lounge" with live entertainment times in a hotel lobby area with people in line.

For the first time, Broken Spell Lounge at the Disneyland Hotel will feature a cocktail menu themed to Disney Villains.

At Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa, guests can watch pumpkin carvers turn gourds into a masterpiece, feast their eyes on a confectionery display in the lobby, and treat themselves to Halloween-inspired treatments at Tenaya Stone Spa.
