The new Disneyland 70th Celebration collectible medallions have arrived at the park as a part of the anniversary festivities.
Disneyland 70 Collectible Medallions
We found the first set of new medallions at the Tomorrowland machine near the exit of Space Mountain. The banner at the top of the machine has already been decorated with yellow Disneyland 70th art. The banner includes the full Disneyland 70 wordmark and illustrations of the Millennium Falcon, Dumbo, Space Mountain, and the Matterhorn.
This machine has a total of four designs, all of which are now updated with the 70th anniversary logos. The coins are visible through the glass on the front of the machine.
There are buttons with each of the new designs near the payment slot. The pricing for the new medallions is standard for the other machines. You can buy a single medallion for $6 or a set of all four for $20.
The first collectible medallion has an image of Darth Vader swinging his lightsaber. The icon on his left has the “70” logo with the castle turrets as well as the full Disneyland Resort wordmark.
The next medallion shows Space Mountain with a ride vehicle blasting off into space. Below the mountain is the wordmark for Tomorrowland, and another 70 logo is included on the right.
Representing Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, this medallion has the skyline of Black Spire Outpost and the usual Disneyland 70 logo.
The final design at this machine shows Mickey wearing an astronaut suit while floating in space. As with the others, the 70 logo with the castle turrets is included on the front.
The backside of all four coins is identical and has a much bigger version of the same Disneyland “70” logo surrounded by a border of stars.
The machine at the Disneyland Hotel has also been updated with some new designs. The machine was updated around the same time the Disneyland Hotel was decorated with special balloons and a photo op for the 70th celebrations.
The new Disneyland 70 medallion is silver, so it stands out from the older gold medallions at this location. The pricing is the same as the other machines.
The front of this coin has the iconic Sorcerer’s Hat representing the Disneyland Hotel with Mickey standing to the left. While not in color, Mickey is wearing his new shirt and shorts combo that matches his 70th anniversary costume.
As with the other new collectible medallions, the back has the standard 70 logo design.

The machine at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa just offers one medallion, which, like the machine at the Disneyland Hotel, is easy to spot thanks to the one silver button.

This medallion has Mickey lounging in a rocking chair with his back to the viewer. The wordmark for the Grand Californian is at the top of the coin, with the “70” logo off to the left.

At World of Disney in Downtown Disney District, this machine offers two medallions for the 70th anniversary.
This machine offers two 70th anniversary medallions.
The two designs feature Daisy Duck and Donald Duck in anniversary attire, with the “70” logo next to them and on the back of the coin.
There are three 70th anniversary designs available from the machine in Bayou Country. This is right next to the Key to Disneyland station.
The medallions feature the Hatbox Ghost from The Haunted Mansion, Winnie the Pooh and Tigger, and the Tiana’s Foods water tower from Tiana’s Bayou Adventure.

One coin that was available here included Henry from the Country Bears and the wordmark for Country Bear Musical Jamboree, the attraction located in Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World Resort. It was quickly pulled from the machine and is no longer available.
On Buena Vista Street in Disney California Adventure are a series of medallions featuring designs inspired by the park.
The 70th anniversary medallion designs are all displayed on buttons with pink/purple/blue borders, but the actual medallions don’t have these colorful borders.
The Disney California Adventure designs feature Grizzly Peak, the Storytellers statue of Walt and Mickey, Oswald the Lucky Rabbit, and Mickey and Minnie in fancy vintage-style attire. They all feature the 70th anniversary logo.
The medallion machine in the Main Street Opera House is side by side with a pressed penny machine, which also features 70th anniversary designs.
The medallions here feature Sleeping Beauty Castle, Walt Disney, Tinker Bell, and the entrance sign for Disneyland reading, “Here you leave today and enter the world of yesterday, tomorrow, and fantasy.”
More collectible medallions will likely be dropped now that the Disneyland 70th Celebration has officially begun, so stay tuned for more updates. The anniversary activities will continue to run through the summer of 2026.
