Water has memory, and Frozen Ever After at Disneyland Paris reflects that idea with water from “Frozen” attractions around the world in its flume.
Frozen Ever After Flume Filled With Water

Imagineers recently introduced water to the flume of the new “Frozen” ride under construction at Walt Disney Studios Park in Disneyland Paris. They had a water ceremony, pouring in treated water from other “Frozen” flume rides: the original Frozen Ever After in EPCOT, the Hong Kong Disneyland version, and Anna and Elsa’s Frozen Journey in Tokyo DisneySea. They also included water from Norway.
As Imagineer Peyton explained, such a tradition began with the 1966 opening of “it’s a small world” at Disneyland. For the dedication, Walt Disney invited international representatives to add water from their respective countries to the ride’s flume.
The new “Frozen” attraction will be in World of Frozen, part of the Adventure Bay expansion to Walt Disney Studios Park that also includes Raiponce Tangled Spin. The area will have a lagoon with a new nighttime spectacular. The park will be renamed Disney Adventure World when the expansion opens in 2026, part of a years-long reimagining of the park. Later, an area themed to “The Lion King” will be added to Adventure Bay.
