About The Guild of Mystics

A wooden sign with gold text reads "The Guild of Mystics," encircled by stars and a crescent moon.

The Guild of Mystics is an outdoor merchandise location themed to the colorful travelers seen in the classic werewolf and Wolf Man films.

Read the official description below.

The Guild of Mystics have set up their wagons in the cursed woods on the outskirts of Darkmoor Village. Here they sell colorful t-shirts and other werewolf-themed souvenirs and apparel, monster-themed toys, magical charms, and hand-crafted jewelry featuring ancient symbols that may protect some from werewolves and other horrors of the village.

Location

Map of themed attractions, featuring icons for werewolves, The Guild of Mystics, Frankenstein, and meet and greet spots.

The Guild of Mystics is located toward the back of Dark Universe, near the entrance to the Curse of the Werewolf attraction.

Shoppers browse outside The Guild of Mystics, a small fantasy shop brimming with magical merchandise on a sunny day.

The permanent kiosk is modeled like a traveling caravan that one of the guild members is using to display their wares.

Merchandise

Curse of the Werewolf Ride Vehicle – $48

A hand holds a "Dark Universe" 3D model kit box by The Guild of Mystics for the Curse of the Werewolf ride vehicle.

This first new item is a 3D model kit that includes wood pieces, rubber connectors, and color decals. The kit allows guests to construct their own version of the Curse of the Werewolf ride vehicle, as seen on the nearby attraction.

A hand holds a "Curse of the Werewolf Ride Vehicle" 3D kit by The Guild of Mystics at Universal Studios.

The back of the box includes a little more information on the construction process. The pieces all snap together, so the model can be finished without the need for glue.

Curse of the Werewolf Folding Fan – $21

The next item is perfect for the summer heat in Florida. This tan and brown folding fan has a more minimalist design, with the phases of the moon hidden inside the white stripes running along each wooden rib. The top brown stripe has “Curse of the Werewolf” written across the center. The back of the fan is plain with no design.

Werewolf Symbol Pin – $10

This is the first of several items featuring what is called the “werewolf symbol,” as seen on the nearby attraction. The symbol is a stylized, glyph-like drawing of a wolf’s head, with two curves on the top for ears and several vertical lines toward the bottom representing teeth. This pin is shaped just like the symbol and has a worn bronze color.

Werewolf Symbol Tumbler – $27

The werewolf symbol is also featured on this silver metal travel tumbler. Most of the tumbler is a brushed silver color, but the symbol is a more reflective silver. The tumbler comes with a matching silver screw-top lid that has a short carry handle. The back is plain with the Dark Universe wordmark.

Werewolf Symbol Throw Blanket – $37

This next item is a green and brown throw blanket. The description on the tag says that the blanket has another werewolf symbol as its main design, though it was unfortunately rolled-up in the shop, so the full design wasn’t visible. The blanket has some brown and white lunar symbols and a matching brown seam.

Werewolf Symbol Journal – $27

A hand holds a brown leather journal with arrow designs, wrapped in straps—a keepsake of The Guild of Mystics.

Another werewolf symbol is embossed on the front of this leather-style journal. The journal has a thin chord that wraps around the middle to keep it closed and an extra flap that covers the page edges on the right side.

A hand holds a brown leather "Dark Universe" journal from The Guild of Mystics with a wraparound strap in a store display.

Most of the symbol is placed on the right side of the front flap, though part of it wraps around to the back.

On the inside, the first page has a brown design of the phases of the moon running across the lower half. The other pages are blank with standard writing lines, though the lines are all brown instead of black.

Wolf Man Pin Set – $20

While a lot of the merchandise at The Guild of Mystics is based on the Curse of the Werewolf attraction, there are also some items based on the classic film “The Wolf Man.” This set of four pins includes the Wolf Man’s face in black and white to match the original film style, a Wolf Man wordmark in yellow, his half-wolf silhouette in silver, and a bright yellow full moon.

Curse of the Werewolf Cooling Towel – $24

Hand holds a "Werewolf Cooling Towel" in an outdoor park, perfect for The Guild of Mystics adventures.

Keeping with the theme of avoiding the summer heat, this next item is a Curse of the Werewolf cooling towel. The towel measures 12 in by 20 in and has different designs on each side. Both designs are based on the attraction’s poster art, with the werewolf from the attraction bursting through the roof of the barn and the outline of him standing against the full moon.

A hand holds a plastic case labeled "Universal Lanyard" at The Guild of Mystics on a sunny theme park day.

The towel comes sealed in a plastic container at purchase, which includes the Dark Universe wordmark. The towel can be wet and is supposed to retain its cool temperature for a few hours.

Curse of the Werewolf Travel Tumbler – $21

This second tumbler again features the attraction poster art with the werewolf bursting through the barn in the attraction and “Beware of the Full Moon” written in bright red. The other sides include art of the attraction’s brown rollercoaster track and the leader of the Guild of Mystics, Maleva.

Poster Art Drawstring Bag – $32

This black drawstring bag has a somewhat simplified version of the same Curse of the Werewolf poster art. The werewolf is pictured in the center of the bag, with the track running on the left side. Smaller postcards beside his body again show Maleva, a full moon, and several fortune-telling cards.

Curse of the Werewolf ID Holder – $16

Brown "Curse of the Werewolf" keychains and cardholders from The Guild of Mystics hang on display for sale at a store.

This ID holder has a similar style to most Universal Orlando Resort ID holders, with a pouch attached to the bottom of an extendable wire and a metal clip on the top. The top clip has “Curse of the Werewolf” in brown, in a similar style to the folding fan.

The ID pouch itself is brown pleather. One side has the transparent window for displaying a card or ticket, with the werewolf symbol drawn in white underneath it. The opposite side has some new art. The werewolf is shown lunging as he does in the poster beneath a zoomed-in version of his face. He is surrounded by the phases of the moon in a white frame.

Curse of the Werewolf Lanyard Pouch – $11

For guests who don’t need the whole ID holder, you can also purchase just the lanyard pouch to clip onto an existing lanyard. This one is based on the same attraction poster art, with the retro-horror-style “Curse of the Werewolf” logo written in red and the same attraction images.

Werewolf Symbol Auto Emblem – $12

The werewolf symbol can be attached to your car, or anything else, with this auto emblem. The back is peel-and-stick, though the wrapper warns that the emblem is made to be stuck permanently after the first application and is not easily transferrable. Like the pin, the emblem is shaped just like the werewolf symbol in a slightly faded bronze color.

Set of 2 Car Coasters – $12

This two pack includes a set of brown coasters, though these are intended specifically for a car. These are meant to be placed in the bottom of a car cupholder and will absorb accidental liquid spills. The back notes that if the coasters become stained, they can be soaked in warm water and liquid detergent. Both coasters are brown, with one featuring the werewolf’s face and the other featuring the werewolf symbol.

Werewolf Lanyard – $14

In addition to the usual Darkmoor Village lanyard, this location is selling a specific Curse of the Werewolf lanyard. One side is white with “Curse of the Werewolf” written in dark brown beside the werewolf’s head. The opposite side is a lighter tan color with the poster art repeated in a rectangular pattern.

Werewolf Symbol ID Holder – $16

One more style of ID Holder is made of fake leather rather than the more plastic-style material. This one has the werewolf symbol embossed on one side, along with the Dark Universe wordmark. The opposite side is plain with the clear ID slot.

Apparel

Curse of the Werewolf T-Shirt – $27

Moving to apparel available at The Guild of Mystics, this first item is a black T-shirt featuring the full-color version of the attraction poster art. This one contains the full tagline “The village of Darkmoor can’t escape the…Curse of the Werewolf.” The back and sleeves are all plain black.

Werewolf Mark Shirt – $39

The next shirt has more of a relaxed fit and includes a few intentional holes, as though the shirt is already worn, by the left side of the collar and bottom right hem. The front has a white version of the werewolf symbol printed across the middle. The back is plain.

Werewolf Mark Sleeveless Shirt – $39

The white werewolf symbol is pictured again on this light tan sleeveless shirt. The symbol is drawn much smaller here than on the previous black shirt, only reaching down to roughly the ribs.

Cursed Shirt – $39

This next top has another relaxed fit, with the arm underneath the sleeves hanging long enough to resemble almost a poncho cut. The fabric is a orange-brown color with black and white art in the center. The art shows a close-up version of the werewolf’s eyes and snarl. Printed over his face is white text saying “Cursed” alongside the phases of the moon.

Werewolf Symbol Hat – $32

This brown bucket hat has intentionally worn edges and a repeated pattern of the werewolf symbol in a lighter shade of tan. The hat is an adult size, one size fits all, and does not have an adjustment pull or neck strap.

Werewolf Ring – $27

The Guild of Mystics also sells several werewolf-inspired jewelry items. This silver ring has the werewolf’s head wrapped over the top band, as though he is biting down on your finger.

Werewolf Symbol Chord Necklace – $37

This brown necklace is made of braided brown pleather, with quite a bit of extra chord for either extending the length or doubling it. The bottom has a silver version of the werewolf symbol outline.

Curse of the Werewolf Crossbody Bag – $42

A hand holds an olive green bag from The Guild of Mystics, featuring a snarling werewolf and "CURSE OF THE WEREWOLF" on front.

The next item is an army green crossbody bag in a similar shape to the Lug bags at Walt Disney World. The front has the same art from the ID holder, though here it is printed in white and brown to stand out against the green fabric.

A hand holds a small olive green pouch with The Guild of Mystics emblem, outdoors near similar displayed items.

On the opposite side, there is a second pouch that has a matching green drawstring. Including the front slip pocket and the main zipper compartment, this bag has a total of three storage areas.

The bag has a long shoulder strap that is adjustable for several lengths. The interior is lined with brown fabric patterned with astrology symbols.

Mystic Purple Dress – $63

A purple dress with magical sun and flower patterns, favored by The Guild of Mystics, hangs beside a gray sun T-shirt.

This short purple dress could also be worn as a long, tunic-style shirt. It is made of purple fabric patterned with pink and gold starbursts. Several of the smaller icons are based on more astrology symbols. It has a drawstring tie around the waist and a deep V-neck.

Purple dress with gold and pink magical symbols, sun and moon, for The Guild of Mystics, hangs by light gray shirts.

The back of the dress continues the pattern from the front, with more gold and pink detailing. The only major difference is the large golden charm printed in the middle of the back, which is shaped like the head of a wolf surrounded by hanging stars.

Mystic Crossbody Bag – $53

A hand holds a blue and gold Guild of Mystics purse in front of a purple, celestial-patterned dress.

This crossbody bag is made of a stiffer, leather-style material in a deep shade of blue. The front has a gold image that appears similar to a fortune-telling card. The star in the middle of the image is commonly used as the symbol for the Hounds, the group of roaming monster hunters in Darkmoor.

This bag has only one central compartment held closed with a top flap. The flap has a gold snap closure. The extended gold chain folded inside the bag acts as a shoulder strap.

Sling Backpack – $48

A hand holds a purple Guild of Mystics bag with gold designs, in front of matching celestial-patterned shirts.

Unlike the previous two bags, this is a backpack with a lot more storage space and a single shoulder strap. Most of the bag is made of purple fabric mirroring the gold and pink patterns seen on the dress, with added shades of lavender. The smaller zipper pouch on the front has the gold wolf charm also seen on the dress.

This backpack has several compartments, including a smaller zipper pouch on the front, a tiny snap pouch near the top, a larger zipper pouch in the middle, and one more thin zipper compartment on the back near the strap. The strap itself is a matching shade of purple with bronze fixtures. The bottom of the strap has a clip for moving it to either side of the bag.

Guild of Mystics Shirt – $48

Keeping with the Guild of Mystics purple color scheme, this next shirt has a white to purple ombre effect from the neck to the bottom. The chest has a golden sun surrounded by swirled vines. The bottom, near the purple section, has a pattern of gray starbursts and some more golden vines running along the hem. The back is plain with the same ombre colors.

Scarf Headband – $21

Using the same pink, purple, and gold pattern as the dress and backpack is this matching scarf. This scarf is specifically designed for use as a headband, so it is thinner and flat to make it easy to tie.

Sunburst Earrings – $32

These bronze metal earrings are shaped like the sun, with rays of light pointing outward from a slightly-tinted stone in the middle.

Crystal Ball Ring – $32

This next bronze ring has another orange-tinted stone in the middle, but this one is placed between two hands as though it is a crystal ball. The hand beneath the ball is also embedded with a small purple gem.

Long Mystic Eye Necklace – $37

The first of two necklaces, these both match the Guild of Mystics aesthetic with purple, bronze, and gold colors that would match well with any of the previous purple items. This necklace has two chains, both in bronze. The longer chain has two stars and a large eye studded with purple gems in the center. The shorter chain has golden eyes with pupils made of blue gems.

Short Mystic Eye Necklace – $32

This second necklace is cheaper and is a much shorter length. It only has one chain, which has a mixture of the purple center eye charm and the smaller blue eyes placed next to each other.

Twisted Headband – $22

Unlike the previous scarf, this headband comes already twisted into the correct shape. This one is made of a much darker fabric that appears almost black, with golden stars and wolf heads in a repeating pattern. On the left side is a golden star charm with a circle around the middle and some extra lines.

Purple Scarf – $32

This is a more traditional purple scarf made of thinner fabric that is much wider than the headband version. The pattern on the scarf is a little less busy, with the pink and gold patterns made a little wider instead of repeating.

Curse of the Werewolf Gray Shirt – $42

Gray long-sleeved shirt featuring The Guild of Mystics' monster and buildings graphic on the chest, hanging on a rack.

The next shirt has long sleeves and four buttons running down the top section of the neck. The chest has a small patch of art identical to the “cursed” shirt.

Gray long-sleeve shirt with a werewolf design, moon phases, and The Guild of Mystics text on the back.

The back of this same shirt has the black and white version of the werewolf-centric art, with “Curse of the Werewolf” written across the bottom.

Wolf Man Shirt – $35

This next shirt goes back to the more classical Wolf Man art. This shirt is styled like a retro movie poster, with “The Gripping Tales of The Wolf Man” written across the top. The Wolf Man is outlined in orange in front of a full moon, with his outline repeated again in yellow across the moon’s surface. The back of this shirt is plain.

Wolf Man Shoulder Bag – $53

A hand holds a black "The Wolf Man" bag, featuring The Guild of Mystics and a howling wolf with bold yellow text.

More retro Wolf Man art is printed on the front of this black shoulder bag. The Wolf Man’s face is shown in white across the smaller front pouch, while his name is written in bright yellow across the top.

This bag is much smaller than the backpack, so it only has one main zipper compartment and the smaller zipper pouch on the front. The sides are decorated with white claw marks. The black strap on the back has a clip near the bottom, so it can be moved from the left to the right.

Curse of the Werewolf Hoodie – $63

The attraction art is also printed in a slightly edited form on the back of this hoodie. The art is changed from its usual rectangular layout to a square, with the yellow and red title running across the bottom half. The top has the werewolf’s head peeking over the top, with the postcard of Maleva on the right. The front of the hoodie is plain.

Werewolf Cosplay Hat – $32

Seen at several Dark Universe merchandise locations, this hat is shaped like the top of the werewolf’s head. His eyes and ears stick out from the top of the hat, and his upper teeth hang down by what would be the wearer’s face. It has a small strap for keeping the hat in place.
