VIDEO: Guests Climb Out of Boat & Sit Near Animatronics on Pirates of the Caribbean at Disneyland

A video posted to TikTok shows two guests being escorted off Pirates of the Caribbean in Disneyland, presumably after exiting the boat.

The video does not show the two guests exiting the ride vehicle; however, you can see a female guest seated near one of the ride’s animatronics. She is speaking and gesturing toward a second guest hidden by props.

In the short clip, all of the ride boats are stopped. While little can be heard behind the TikTok sound, warning and ride announcements are being made. Shortly after the video begins, a Cast Member arrives and speaks with the guests before leading them away, likely to a permanent ban from Disneyland.

Coincidentally, this occurred just days after two incidents over at EPCOT’s Living with the Land, when one guest fell into the water while trying to retrieve their dropped phone, and another was caught dipping their cooling towel in the ride’s water flume.

Disneyland Resort recently announced that Pirates of the Caribbean will return to offering a standby queue only on June 30, 2025, and will no longer be a Lightning Lane attraction.
