Universal Studios Hollywood has announced its first original haunted house for Halloween Horror Nights 2025, and it’s a three-quel: Monstruos 3: The Ghosts of Latin America.
Monstruos 3: The Ghosts of Latin America
The original house was announced via @HorrorNights on X (formerly Twitter). The house’s description reads:
One wails. One bites. One beguiles. La Llorona, La Muelona, and La Siguanaba await in the dark. Three legends La Muerte wants you to meet, but you’ll wish you never did.
The first “Monstruos” house debuted at Universal Studios Hollywood in 2023, featuring “The Monsters of Latin America” — La Lechuza, Tlahuelpuchi, and El Silbón. “Monstruos 2” featured “The Nightmares of Latin America,” El Charro, El Cadejo, and El Cucuy. “Monstruos” eventually made its way to Universal Studios Florida for Halloween Horror Nights 33.
Halloween Horror Nights 2025 runs on select nights from September 4 through November 2 at Universal Studios Hollywood. Monstruos 3: The Ghosts of Latin America is the first original house to be announced for this year’s lineup, following the reveals of IP houses “Fallout” and “JASON UN1V3RSE” (“Friday the 13th”). “Five Nights at Freddy’s” will also be part of the event, though the full extent has not been clarified. Tickets are on sale now.
