A new Daisy’s Dig offering has opened in Dinoland U.S.A. at Disney’s Animal Kingdom as part of Cool Kid Summer.
Daisy’s Dig at Restaurantosaurus
Daisy’s outdoor meet and greet has closed, and she now meets as part of Daisy’s Dig. The offering also includes arts and crafts, and sing-alongs with a Dino Institute intern.
Daisy’s Dig is held in “The Hip Joint” room of Restaurantosaurus.

When we visited on Monday, Cast Members had coloring pages featuring Nick Wilde and Judy Hopps from “Zootopia,” Pua from “Moana,” and Simba from “The Lion King.” There were coloring pages and crayons set up at tables, plus more pages and crayons at the front of the room.

Daisy is appearing in her dinosaur-inspired costume. Rather than stopping for a traditional meet and greet, she wandered the room and mostly interacted with children.

The Dino Institute intern was leaving when we arrived. He and Daisy may alternate. The musical interns debuted at Restaurantosaurus last spring. They began performing on Discovery Island as part of Cool Kid Summer this May.

Daisy also joins in on the coloring. A Simba page she colored and autographed was on display.
Though there is no traditional meet and greet, there is a Disney PhotoPass photographer on hand who can take pictures of guests interacting with Daisy.

A limited-time Wilderness Explorers badge and special pollinator crafts at Rafiki’s Planet Watch are also available during Cool Kid Summer, which is set to run through September 1.
Dinoland U.S.A. will close permanently next year to become a new Tropical Americas land. About half of the land closed in January, and The Boneyard will close this September. DINOSAUR will close in 2026 to be reimagined into an Indiana Jones ride. Disney hasn’t announced when Restaurantosaurus will close.
