Guests can once again meet Elphaba and Glinda from “Wicked” for a limited time at Universal Studios Florida.

Elphaba and Glinda Meet and Greet

Two people pose in front of a green Art Deco mural, dressed as the Wicked Witch and Glinda from Wicked.

The witches meet together in the foyer of Wicked: The Experience, near the entrance of Universal Studios Florida. They will be meeting from June 23 through August 10, but daily times were not announced.

Two people in elaborate Wicked Witch and Glinda costumes pose in front of a green, ornate, Oz-themed backdrop.

Elphaba appears in her all-black Wicked Witch look with her iconic hat and broom. Glinda is in her pink “bubble” gown, with her wand/staff.

People stand in line outside a bright green building on a sunny day with blue sky and clouds.

The meet and greet’s queue is outside, designated by stanchions.

Elphaba and Glinda met for a limited time last fall, soon after the opening of Wicked: The Experience. Universal began casting for the characters again this spring before announcing their return.

The first “Wicked” film, an adaptation of the first act of the Broadway musical, was released last November. The sequel, “Wicked: For Good,” will be in theaters on November 21, 2025. The films star Cynthia Erivo as Elphaba Thropp, Ariana Grande as Galinda “Glinda” Upland, Jonathan Bailey as Fiyero Tigelaar, Ethan Slater as Boq Woodsman, Marissa Bode as Nessarose Thropp, Michelle Yeoh as Madame Morrible, and Jeff Goldblum as the Wonderful Wizard of Oz. The films are directed by Jon M. Chu from a screenplay by Winnie Holzman (who wrote the stage show’s book) and Dana Fox. Music is by Stephen Schwartz, who wrote the show’s music and lyrics.

The musical is based on Gregory Maguire’s 1995 novel “Wicked: The Life and Times of the Wicked Witch of the West,” which itself is based on the 1939 film adaptation of L. Frank Baum’s “The Wonderful Wizard of Oz.”
