Mickey-Shaped Bacon-Pecan-Caramel Cinnamon Roll – $8.49
Not only is the name a mouthful, but this is also a monster of a cinnamon roll. It has that signature cinnamon roll smell, and the pecans are huge. It is a bit sticky, thanks to the caramel.
Our reviewer is not a huge fan of caramel, as it can be messy, but they thought this was surprisingly delightful! The caramel holds the treat together well, so you don’t have falling pecans and bacon chunks as you enjoy.
The pecans are candied and very sugary. Our only critique is that it could use a greater presence of the bacon, as ours was localized to just one side. The bacon does cut the sweetness of the treat, which we appreciated.
This is definitely way too big to eat alone, but it could be a fun and exciting breakfast option for a family or group that’s a departure from standard breakfast fare at Magic Kingdom. It’s much better than we anticipated, but we don’t think we’d get this again without more people to help eat it.
Any normal cinnamon roll would get a 5/7 from us, but this gets an extra point for being an elevated take on the treat.
