Universal Orlando Resort has announced that Nightmare Fuel will once again return for Halloween Horror Nights 34 with a brand-new show — Nightmare Fuel: Circus of Decay.
Nightmare Fuel: Circus of Decay Announced for Halloween Horror Nights 34
The announcement was first revealed on social media. Universal describes this new show as:
This once-vibrant circus has festered into an unending nightmare. It’s a sinister spectacle of pyro, aerialists and illusions.
Though not explicitly stated, this seems to be a sequel to the previous show, Nightmare Fuel: Nocternal Circus, which was performed during Halloween Horror Nights 33 in 2024. We spotted familiar bunting from the previous show installed at the Fear Factor stage just yesterday, July 23.
This announcement follows the previously announced scare zones, haunted houses, and new “street experiences” for this year’s event.
Scare zones for HHN 34 will be Mutations: Toxic Twenties, The Cat Lady of Crooked Lane, Masquerade: Dance with Death, and The Origins of Horror. This year will also see new “street experiences” with Mel’s Die-In Zombies and Club Horror.
Universal has announced eight HHN houses so far for this year. The original houses include Gálkn: Monsters of the North, Grave of the Flesh, Dolls: Let’s Play Dead, Hatchet and Chains: Demon Bounty Hunters, and El Artista: A Spanish Haunting. The three IP-inspired houses announced so far are “Terrifier,” “Fallout,” and “JASON UN1V3RSE” (“Friday the 13th”). “Five Nights at Freddy’s” will also be part of the event, though the extent has not been confirmed.
Tickets are on sale now for Halloween Horror Nights 2025 at Universal Studios Florida. Multi-night tickets are on sale, though most Express add-on options have sold out.
