A new version of the “But Daddy I Love Him!” hat has arrived in Walt Disney World, referencing the famous line from The Little Mermaid.

A brightly lit vintage store with "5 & 10" signs displays Disney merchandise and a Little Mermaid hat at night.

We found the new hat at Celebrity 5&10 in Disney’s Hollywood Studios.

This new baseball cap is a pink color with white embroidery across the front. The text says “But Daddy I Love Him!” in cursive lettering. The quote is a reference to Ariel’s famous line from The Little Mermaid.

The sides of the quote are decorated with some bubbles, seashells, and a dinglehopper (also known as a fork).

The back of the cap is made of more of the same pink fabric, as is the bottom adjustment strap. Embroidered above the adjustment hole is the wordmark for The Little Mermaid.

Interestingly, this is not the first time Disney has used this iconic Ariel quote on various apparel items. Walt Disney World released a pink “But Daddy I Love Him!” shirt ahead of Valentine’s Day this year. There was also a different hat with this same text released at both Walt Disney World and Disneyland Resort back in 2021. However, the old hat design was a pale pink color with blue stitching, and the text was printed on the front instead of embroidered.
