Cinderella Statue Returns to Disney Springs Following Five Day Disappearance

Not even a week following its latest disappearance, the Cinderella statue placed outside World of Disney in Disney Springs has returned to is usual spot.

As we previously reported on July 17, the Cinderella statue normally located on the southwest side of World of Disney had disappeared. While it is normal for these outdoor statues to be removed for refurbishment every year or so, this absence was notable because Cinderella had already been removed for a multi-month refurbishment at the end of 2024.

Interestingly, as of July 22, Cinderella has retuned once more to her usual platform, just five days after we reported her missing.

The statue appears unchanged since its last refurbishment, though perhaps some unexpected damage was the reason for the short disappearance. Nonetheless, Cinderella is back to welcome guests to World of Disney in her signature blue dress and glass slippers.

By the column on the opposite side of this entrance, the statue of Aurora is also standing in its usual spot. Sleeping Beauty was also removed for a longer refurbishment and returned just last month, but has not disappeared since then.

In other World of Disney news, the entrance to the store near Amorette’s Patisserie was recently changed. The marquee structure on that side, which included the store’s large sign, has been removed. Since the removal, banners with the World of Disney name have been added to the nearby columns. Disney has not made any official statement yet about whether the sign removal is part of a temporary refurbishment or a larger project.
