Though Disney California Adventure is not turning 70 today, it still has a commemorative guidemap for the Disneyland Resort 70th anniversary.
July 17 Disney California Adventure Guidemap
The guidemap honors July 17, 2025, the 70th anniversary of Disneyland Resort. A black-and-white photo of Walt Disney surrounded by Mickey toys is on the cover. Like a standard map, it features the Disney California Adventure logo. It also has the date.
The first section of the guide lists some special entertainment, including “World of Color Happiness!” and the 70th anniversary targets on Toy Story Midway Mania! There are 70th anniversary food items throughout the park. A QR code leads to more information in the Disneyland app.
Unfolded further, the guide displays a standard Disney California Adventure map and a list of attractions and dining. This is similar to the Disney California Adventure guidemap that debuted earlier this year.
The Cast Member nametag pictured is for “Roy” from Marceline, MO, in honor of Roy O. Disney. The commemorative Disneyland map has Walt’s name.
Instead of old Disney California Adventure concept art, the fully unfolded guide features the same 1954 Disneyland Park artwork by Disney Legend Peter Ellenshaw and a list of the original park’s opening day attractions. In a way, Disney California Adventure is represented — it replaced the parking lot pictured in front of Disneyland.
Though today — July 17, 2025 — is the actual 70th anniversary of Disneyland, the celebration began in May and runs through next summer.
