The refurbishment of Magnolia Bend guest rooms at Disney’s Port Orleans Resort – Riverside has been extended by one month.

The refurbishment was originally scheduled to begin in early April 2025, but was delayed to early May. As such, the project is now scheduled through February 2026, instead of January 2026. Here is the notice from the Walt Disney World website:

From early May 2025 through the end of February 2026, Guest rooms in the Magnolia Bend at Disney’s Port Orleans Resort – Riverside will undergo refurbishment. During this time, Guests may see or hear construction work in the area.

The room refurbishment began after the rooms of Disney’s Port Orleans – French Quarter were refurbished.

Disney’s Pop Century Resort guest rooms are undergoing a refurbishment scheduled to last until mid-February 2026. Copper Creek Villas & Cabins at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge are under refurbishment through September 2025.

A bridge was recently broken at Disney’s Port Orleans Resort after a truck accident.
