If you’ve ever wanted to see a pillow fight, dodgeball, or a race up slippery stairs at Walt Disney World, then you’re in luck: ESPN is bringing ESPN8: The Ocho to ESPN Wide World of Sports to offer “seldom-seen sports” and wacky competitions.
ESPN8: The Ocho Coming to Walt Disney World
ESPN8: The Ocho kicks off the fun this Friday, August 1 at ESPN Wide World of Sports, where guests will have the chance to see some of the world’s best players of kickball, electronic darts, and more — and there’s no cost to attend (though advanced registration is encouraged).
This marks the ninth year that ESPN and transformed into ESPN8: The Ocho, and the event for 2025 is packed with unique competitions, from paintball and omegaball (soccer with three teams and three goals) to extreme archery (archery and dodgeball combined).
Attendees will also have the chance to be part of the TV experience for these sports, as ESPN will be broadcasting each competition live on August 1, along with “The Ocho Show” and a special edition of “SportsCenter.” Food trucks, concessions, and exclusive The Ocho merchandise will also be available.

- 10 a.m. – Major League Paintball at The Stadium
- 11 a.m. – NWLA Wiffle Ball at The Stadium
- 12 p.m. – Omegaball at The Stadium
- 1 p.m. – TurfWars Adult Kickball at The Stadium
- 2 p.m. – SportsCenter, hosted by Randy Scott and Gary Striewski at the AdventHealth Arena
- 3 p.m. – Bullshooter at the AdventHealth Arena
- 4 p.m. – The Ocho Show, hosted by Clinton Yates, Arda Öcal, and Cristina Alexander at the AdventHealth Arena
- 5 p.m. – The Popdarts Championship presneted by APL at the AdventHealth Arena
- 6 p.m. – 2025 Slippery Stairs at the AdventHealth Arena
- 7 p.m. – 2025 Extreme Archery Championship presented by Archery Tag at the AdventHealth Arena
- 8 p.m. – Dodgeball at the AdventHealth Arena
- 9 p.m. – Pop-A-Shot 2025 National Championship at the AdventHelath Arena
- 10 p.m. – Pillow Fighting at the AdventHealth Arena
