A member of the WDWNT team was able to grab some shots of The Fantastic Four: First Steps Magic Shot experience onboard the Disney Treasure. The backdrop features a retro-style version of the New York City skyline as if viewed from the window of the Baxter Building.

On the Disney Treasure, the experience is located opposite the Grand Hall Stage, between the hallways to the aft stairs and elevator and the Walt Disney side of 1923.

Guests stand against the backdrop and pose in a similar fashion to the characters, who are added to their photos before being released to the Disney Cruise Line app.

Marvel Studios’ The Fantastic Four: First Steps is in theaters now, and to celebrate, guests can also meet some pretty fantastic characters at Disneyland Park, including the eponymous heroes and their robot pal HERBIE. Hong Kong Disneyland and Disneyland Paris also have limited-time character encounters and merchandise in honor of the film’s release.

Disney has also released film-themed apparel collectionsspecialty food and beverage options at theme parks around the world, and a new The Thing Sipper as well as a Mr. Fantastic Straw Clip.

Stay tuned for our full review of the film.
