Disney has shared the first photos of several bronze character statues that will be coming to Walt Disney Studios Park in Paris, which is soon to be renamed Disney Adventure World.
Bronze Character Statues
The photos were shared in an Instagram post from Walt Disney Imagineering. The first post included a look at bronze statues of several iconic animated characters, which the caption says were just installed in the Gazebo Garden.
The first two pictures include statues of Pongo and several smaller dalmatians from 101 Dalmatians. The cute pups are sitting next to a matching bronze bench with diamond detailing. There is a planter behind the bench that will presumably become a type of garden area.
One more picture shows several of the construction crew members standing in front of a gray stone column supporting a metal lamp. Seated on top of the column, as though he just flew in, is a statue of Peter Pan smiling down at guests.
One more photo was posted by Disneyland Paris President Natascha Rafalsky. The image shows Rafalsky and Imagineer Michel Den Dalk sitting beside a bronze Winnie the Pooh statue on a similar bench. She notes in the post that this bench is not pictured in its permanent destination.

Walt Disney Studios Park is in the process of being transformed into Disney Adventure World. The updated park will include The Pride Lands themed to The Lion King, The World of Frozen, and a new attraction themed to Pixar’s UP! Disney later released an image of a Disney Adventure World scale model and a new fun map with cartoon-style icons for all the additions.
