First Look at Jack Skellington’s New, More Accurate Meet and Greet Look

Walt Disney World Cast Members were the first to experience Jack Skellington’s updated look with a surprise Jack and Sally meet and greet in July.

New Jack Skellington Meet and Greet Look

Above are Jack and Sally’s old looks. Disney Parks revealed a new Jack Skellington head and updated makeup for Sally in a social media video earlier this year. Jack now has a full head rather than a half-mask. He also has fully white gloved hands, instead of them being black on the palms.

The TikTok video below, shared by Christian-Philippe Consigny, gives a better look at Jack’s updates. The old look allowed the performer to speak easily, but his new head does have an articulated mouth. It looks like it can’t move as much as a human mouth, but it is significantly closer in appearance to Jack’s animation in Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas.

Sally’s makeup changes are subtler. She has a darker lip and different stitch patterns around her eyes. Their costumes remain approximately the same.

The Cast Member meet and greet took place at the duo’s meet and greet space in the Town Street Theater at Magic Kingdom.

Jack and Sally will appear, as usual, for meet and greets during Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. Sally and Santa Jack will also appear at Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, and while not confirmed, he is expected to have the same updated head.
