Disney has now confirmed that Maestro Mickey’s, the store located in Disney’s All-Star Music Resort, will be starting a phased refurbishment beginning in a few weeks.
Maestro Mickey’s Refurbishment

News of the refurbishment has been added to the store’s page on the Walt Disney World website. The refurbishment is set to begin on August 4 and last through mid-October 2025, though no exact ending date was provided.
However, the website warning also notes that the refurbishment is set to take place in phases. Instead of closing the entire store, certain sections will be closed off as one area is refurbished at a time. The full notice reads as follows:
From August 4 through mid-October 2025, Maestro Mickey’s located at Disney’s All-Star Music Resort will undergo a phased refurbishment. During this time, the store will remain open. However, Guests may see and hear construction in the area until the work is complete.

Maestro Mickey’s is the main shopping location at Disney’s All-Star Music Resort. In addition to selling resort-specific merchandise, the store also carries snacks, sundries, and other items guests may need during their vacation.
While some of the other All-Star Resorts have been receiving updates over the past few months, it has been mostly quiet at Disney’s All-Star Music until now. The resort’s most recent refurbishment involved painting a new mural in the lobby back in August of 2024.
