New Disney’s Polynesian Village & Contemporary Resort Monorail Lug Purses

Two new Walt Disney World Lug bags are inspired by Disney’s Contemporary Resort and Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort.

Contemporary Monorail Lug Bag – $75

A hand holds a pouch designed to look like a monorail, with red, black, and teal accents.

This is a white bag shaped like the front of a Monorail with a rounded nose. The blue windows and red stripe are embroidered on one side.

It has two pockets with dark zippers. There are metal rings on the sides for attaching the included crossbody strap.

There are also two loops on the back. The strap can run through these, converting it into a belt bag. Between the loops is an off-white Disney Parks | Lug label plate. Below them are red, blue, yellow, and orange embroidered stripes and the Disney’s Contemporary Resort wordmark in red.

The strap is dark blue. The interior lining is the same blue with different colored Monorails.

This is available from Bayview Gifts at Disney’s Contemporary Resort. It matches a series of Monorail merchandise released earlier this year.

Polynesian Lug Bag – $65

A hand holds a teal bag with "Aloha" and a tiki face design, displayed in a store with similar bags in the background.

Over at BouTiki in Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort is this teal crossbody purse. This is the standard Skeeter-style bag with two pockets on top and a smaller pocket on the front. The face of the resort’s mascot, Maui, is an embroidered patch on the front pocket.

A teal bag with "ALOHA Disney's Polynesian Village Resort" embroidered in orange and brown letters.

An embroidered patch above the pocket reads, “Aloha,” with the Polynesian’s wordmark. It’s set against an embroidered floral pattern.

The zippers are dark metal with teal fabric pulls. There’s a top carry handle.

On the back is an image of DOLE Whip or a similar treat with palm trees and tropical flowers. It reads “Taste of Aloha.” Like the Monorail bag, it includes metal rings and fabric loops for the strap.

A hand with rings holds open a teal bag, showing a patterned fabric lining with tropical designs inside.

The interior lining is teal with blue and orange tropical patterns.
