Though Halloween is still some time away, a spooky new treat has arrived at Walt Disney World: a Poison Apple Cake Pop.
Candy Cauldron is located at Disney Springs West Side, nestled between Sunglass Hut and Marvel Super Hero Headquarters.
Poison Apple Cake Pop – $5.79
Displayed as the “Evil Queen Apple Chocolate Cakepop”
This cake pop is nice and chocolatey, and tastes more like a brownie than cake. It’s super rich and dense in all the best ways. Visually, it’s inspired by the Poison Apple that the Evil Queen crafts in “Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.”

The frosting or fondant on top is okay, and you hardly notice it against the chocolate. It’s also obviously very photogenic, if that matters with your Disney treats.
That being said, if you don’t like chocolate, you’ll want to skip this. Discounts do apply, and getting a cake pop for under $5 is worth it for us in this case. It does melt quickly, so be prepared for the green and red to make a mess, though the stick does help some.
