The new Disney Destiny cruise ship sets sail this November, and Imagineering has shared a first look at the giant Titans of the Underworld puppets that will be used in the Broadway-style production of Hercules on board.

The puppets use exoskeleton technology previously seen for The Hulk at Disney California Adventure. These particular puppets are being developed by Walt Disney Imagineering in collaboration with Disney Live Entertainment.

The Hercules stage show will feature the iconic songs including “Go the Distance,” “Zero to Hero,” and “I Won’t Say I’m in Love,” as well as new compositions. In addition to all of the songs from the film, “Disney Hercules” will include the theatrical debut of “Shooting Star,” a ballad that was cut from the animated film, written by Alan Menken and David Zippel.

Previously, Disney said they would “utilize technology that has not been used in a theatrical setting to depict the Titans.” The video shows a person getting into the suit.

A stage performance depicts a figure battling a multi-headed, purple dragon-like creature under dramatic lighting, reminiscent of a Disney fantasy, with an audience watching spellbound by its destiny.

A large puppet Hydra will also be in the show.
