Universal Studios Hollywood has announced the arrival of Chainsaw Man: The Chaos for Halloween Horror Nights 2025.

This latest announcement was shared by the Halloween Horror Nights Hollywood Instagram account. The post includes the caption:
Lose yourself in a wild original storyline as Anime characters Denji, Aki, Power, Kobeni, and others battle the Halloween Horror Nights Devil who commands an army of zombies.
The post specifically mentions that the show will be taking over the DreamWorks Theater.
Chainsaw Man: The Chaos
Interestingly, this same show originally debuted at Universal Studios Japan in 2024 for their Halloween Horror Nights event. The show was originally presented in Japan as a 4-D show at their aptly-named Cinema 4-D. It included special effects such as wind, water, and vibrations. However, the Hollywood version has not been confirmed to include the full 4-D version, and may only be a standard film viewing.
The show includes Denji, Aki, Power, and Kobeni working together to fight the Halloween Horror Nights Demon, who is leading an army of zombies.
Chainsaw Man is a manga series that follows the story of Denji, a teenager left for dead who makes a contract with a dog-like devil. This contract allows him to transform parts of his body into chainsaws. The manga series was adapted into a TV series that ran from October 12 – December 28, 2022 on TV Tokyo.

This is not the first time Universal Studios Hollywood has brought over a film from Universal Studios Japan. Previously, the park included Jujutsu Kaisen: Hunger of the Cursed as part of Fan Fest Nights in 2025. This film was also shown in the DreamWorks Theater and was unaltered from the Japanese version, apart from being presented in English and not including the 4-D effects. It is likely the Chainsaw Man film will be presented in a similar fashion.
Halloween Horror Nights 2025
Other recent Halloween Horror Nights announcements from Universal Studios Hollywood have included the debut of a new HHN dining pass and the return of The Purge: Dangerous Waters. HHN 2025 is scheduled to run from September 4 through November 2.
