Disney announced the opening date and details of Zootopia: Better Zoogether, the new Tree of Life show coming to Disney’s Animal Kingdom.
Zootopia: Better Zoogether Opening Date

Zootopia: Better Zoogether will open on November 7, 2025. It’s a 9-minute film.
Zootopia: Better Zoogether Story & New Character
The story sees the Zootopia characters celebrating Zoogether Day. This holiday celebrates the unity of the city’s diverse biomes.

A new wolf character hosts the show. Heidi Howler is “a slick-talking wolf who hosts the Zoogether Day LIVE! broadcast with excitement, energy, and quite a bit of howling,” according to Disney Parks Blog.
It’s presented in “CarrotVision 3D” with sight, sound, smell, and touch. Guests will wear CarrotVision glasses.

It’s split into three acts and a finale. First up is an ice-skating performance from Tundratown. Act two is synchronized swimming from Marsh Market. The third act is a tiny mouse drone show over Little Rodentia.
The finale celebrates the diversity of animals with “Try Everything” performed by Gazelle in Sahara Square. The performances are ostensibly livestreamed to guests in Tree of Life Theater.
Zootopia 2 animators worked on the film and, as previously announced, much of the voice cast returns, including Ginnifer Goodwin and Jason Bateman. Zootopia 2 is in theaters on November 26.
Judy and Nick Meet and Greet

There will be a new Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde meet and greet at Discovery Island near the Tree of Life. Judy and Nick wear new looks from Zootopia 2 at the Zoogether Day Gathering Spot.
