Construction Walls Removed From Between Norway and Mexico Pavilions in EPCOT

The construction walls between the Norway and Mexico pavilions of EPCOT have been removed, revealing a new flowerbed wall.

Construction Complete on Norway-Mexico Flowerbed

Visitors walk near the Royal Sommerhus under cloudy skies at a themed amusement park area with landscaping and buildings.

The walls went up in May, spanning from the flowerbed next to Royal Sommerhaus to Donald’s meet and greet by the Mexico pavilion. His meet and greet temporarily closed for pavement work in June.

There were no significant changes to the rockwork or flowerbeds closest to the Norway pavilion.

The big change comes around the corner. Where there was once a more square area jutting from the main pathway into the trees, there is now a curved space. Part of the flowerbed wall and the pavement has been redone.

The update serves to make the space more of a widened path, rather than a small off-shoot.

For comparison, above is what the space used to look like (with the Frida Kahlo photo op from the EPCOT International Festival of the Arts).

Construction may not be complete in the area as there are still white splotches where old pavement meets the new and messy-looking holes.
