A couple has seemingly been married near the Hippy Dippy Pool at Disney’s Pop Century Resort.
Hippy Dippy Pool Wedding
TikTok user @hannahg28362 was enjoying getting her hair braided at Disney’s Pop Century Resort when she caught a couple tying the knot. The couple, their officiant, and cell phone photographer were the only ones present for the ceremony, which took place in the courtyard just outside of the Hippy Dippy Pool area. Disney typically prohibits “unauthorized events, speeches, or demonstrations” on resort property per the official Walt Disney World Resort Property Rules. This usually includes unofficial weddings.
While many locations in the parks and resorts are available for official weddings and vow renewals, neither Pop Century as a whole nor the resort’s main pool is on that list.

Disney requires couples to book their wedding through Disney’s Fairy Tale Weddings. There are almost 50 venues available in Florida including locations at Disney’s BoardWalk Inn, Coronado Springs, and Disney’s own Wedding Pavilion at the Grand Floridian. Disney Fairy Tale Weddings range in total price from $15,000 to $100,000, and provide the majority of wedding ceremony and reception necessities, including:

- Day-Of Coordinator
