Disney Dismantling Adventureland Entrance Archway in Magic Kingdom

The Adventureland entrance archway in Magic Kingdom has been partially dismantled, either for an off-site refurbishment or to be completely replaced.

A few days ago, WDWNT reported that the Adventureland sign and all its surrounding props were gone from the entrance structure. Now some of the archway’s themed posts have been removed. Other posts with hanging lanterns remain along the bridge.

The archway’s main vertical supports and one full-length horizontal support are still in the center of the bridge. All of the smaller cross posts have been removed from atop the horizontal supports. The themed exterior of one horizontal support has been removed, leaving just some planks connecting two of the vertical supports.

We don’t know if the archway will be replaced with an identical structure and signage, or if Adventureland is getting a brand new entrance.

For reference, below is what the Adventureland entrance previously looked like.

The sign’s props included the Abu Fab 50 statue. The Adventureland/Frontierland sign at the back of the land was refurbished earlier in 2025.
