  • Dr. Facilier Petit Cake – $22
  • Ghost Entremet – $8.25
  • Coco Eclair – $8
  • Zero Cream Puff – $8.75
  • Wilting Rose – $8.50
  • Chocolate Chunk Halloween Sprinkle Cookie – $4.50
  • Halloween Minnie Petit Dome – $10
  • Mickey Jack-o’-lantern Cake Bar – $8.25

Review

Amorette’s Wilting Rose – $8.50

Dark chocolate mousse, raspberry gel filling, and chocolate biscuit

As often the case at Amorette’s, the presentation of the rose is beautiful. If you are used to the usual chocolate roses, you might be surprised by how soft this is. The chocolate biscuit is only a very thin layer at the bottom. Unfortunately, both the chocolate and raspberry are really competing for dominance in your mouth. The raspberry also has a notable chemical aftertaste.

Chocolate Chunk Halloween Sprinkle Cookie – $4.50

Chocolate chunk cookie with sea salt and Halloween sprinkles

This cookie is nearly palm-sized, which is good for the price and makes it easy to share. However, the texture was slightly dry, and the flavor is your very standard chocolate chip cookie. You could probably make this at home.

Coco Eclair- $8

Pate a Choux filled with vanilla-almond mousse

This is an extremely small snack for an $8 price tag. The outer pastry is tasteless, and ours was too chewy to be a proper eclair.

A close-up of a blue Halloween food pastry with green icing and creamy filling on a reflective gold tray.

The mousse was heavy on the almond, not in a pleasant way, and it left another chemical aftertaste. It looks cute, but we wouldn’t get it again.

Dr. Facilier Petit Cake – $22

Graham cracker chiffon, marshmallow mousse, and chocolate ganache

A person holds a small black Halloween food cake with a skull and crossbones design and a red band, outdoors.

We are not the biggest fondant fans, and there is a very thick, dark layer of it on this cake that we found a little disappointing.

A small chocolate-covered cake, perfect for Halloween food reviews, sits on a wooden table in sunlight.

The cake itself is tasty and moist, with a hint of the cinnamon at the end. This is definitely big enough to share, but the price tag is still really high for what you get.

Rating out of 7: 3

Ghost Entremet – $8.25

Cookies and cream mousse, dark chocolate crispy pearls, and house-made dark chocolate chip brownie

The cookies and cream mousse is the star of this dessert. The brownie base was thick and a little hard, but the mousse helped to elevate it. Neither were overly sweet, as sometimes happens with cookies and cream flavors. The top was again covered in fondant, but this was thinner than the exterior of the Dr. Facilier cake.

Halloween Minnie Petite Dome – $10

White chocolate mousse, raspberry filling, vanilla chiffon

A hand holds a teal dome dessert with chocolate mouse ears and a bow, a festive Halloween food at Disney Springs.

This is the staple mousse dome dessert found at many Walt Disney World locations. Use a spoon, not a fork.

A blue and white mousse dessert at Disney Springs with a butterfly, revealing red fruit filling and cake base.

You need some of the vanilla in each bite to make the raspberry less overwhelming. We liked that despite its appearance, this was very light and not covered in fondant. Our only complaint is that the Halloween theming is very subtle, and you could easily see this as a non-seasonal dessert.

Mickey Jack-o’-Lantern Cake Bar – $8.25

Cinnamon sponge mixed with marshmallow mousse and chocolate ganache

A hand holds a blue Halloween popsicle with a Mickey Mouse pumpkin and icing, spotted at Disney Springs outdoors.

This essentially tastes like a graham cracker turned into a cake. The bar has the texture of raw cookie dough. Though it comes on a stick, we definitely do not recommend trying to walk around and eat this, because it will soon fall off.

Partially eaten blue-frosted dessert at Disney Springs, with Halloween decorations and a white candy pumpkin face.

The texture of the filling felt like marshmallow mousse and cinnamon cake in a blender; it was weirdly chalky but also sticky. We would love the flavors of this more if the texture weren’t so strange.

Rating out of 7: 2

Zero Cream Puff – $8.75

Pate a Choux filled with caramel popcorn mousse

This pastry had the taste of a buttered croissant, and was much flakier than the eclair. We didn’t specifically taste popcorn, but it was a pleasant caramel flavor with a salty edge. This gets an extra point for Zero on the top looking cute.

Location

The Rooftop Beverage Bar is located on the highest floor of the Coca-Cola Store, next to Planet Hollywood.

  • Creepy Craze – $12.50

Review

Creepy Craze – $12.50

Monster Mango Loco, Fanta Orange, whipped cream, and cherry juice

A hand holds a tall Halloween Food drink with whipped cream and red syrup at Disney Springs' lively outdoor restaurant.

As it turns out, Monster Mango Loco and Fanta Orange blend together perfectly. The orange comes through on the first sip, but the mango builds in the background. The whipped cream and cherry juice can be a little messy, but we appreciate the commitment to appearing like Halloween. The cherry juice is not a major flavor unless you scoop the whipped cream with a spoon.

Dockside Margaritas

Dockside Margaritas is located in the Marketplace, across from the entrance to Marketplace Co-op.

  • The Poisoned Lime – $18.50

Review

The Poisoned Lime – $18.50

Patrón Silver Tequila, Cointreau Liqueur, Bols Melon Liqueur, sour mix, and lime juice—garnished with a dehydrated blood orange and black sea salt

We worried when reading the description that the flavors of this drink would compete with each other, but this actually works well. The melon liqueur in particular is present without overpowering everything. This is not overly sweet, and would be a great refreshment during the day. One small note is that the black salt rim will definitely stain your mouth.

  • Frozen Foolish Margarita – $6.95 (with tax)

Review

Frozen Foolish Mocha – $6.95 (with tax)

Activated charcoal, chocolate and coconut, whipped cream, and Halloween sprinkles

The activated charcoal does not overpower this mocha, but it does bring a smoky flavor to the chocolate. We didn’t detect much coconut flavor, so if you’re going in hoping for that, you’ll be disappointed. Overall, we think this is nice and refreshing if you prefer your mocha and caffeine cold on a warm day.

Marketplace Snacks

Location

Small snack stand with a “Marketplace Snacks” sign at Disney Springs, offering bubble waffles under a blue sky.

Marketplace snacks is located in the Marketplace, near Marketplace Co-op and Dockside Margaritas.

Menu

Sign displays "Trick-or-Treat Waffle" with description and price, near the EXIT at Disney Springs for Halloween.
  • Trick-Or-Treat Waffle – $9.49

Review

Trick-or-Treat Waffle – $9.49

Vanilla and chocolate soft-serve, Snickers bar pieces, Twix cookie bar pieces, M&M’s milk chocolate candies Halloween blend, Skittles Pop’d original freeze dried candy, chocolate fudge, caramel, and chocolate biscuit sticks

This bubble waffle is loaded with many of the classic snacks you would get after a night of trick-or-treating. All of the candies work well together, apart from the freeze dried Skittles, which we would prefer to remove. The only issue is that this waffle is so loaded with toppings that it is impossible to eat quickly, so it soon becomes a melty mess. We might up this a point once the weather gets a little less sunny.

Outdoor Bars

Location

A cocktail bar kiosk in a shopping mall corridor, like those in Disney Springs, with stores and people in the background.

The next item can be found at multiple outdoor bar locations, but we found it in the covered shopping area that houses Vera Bradley, Tommy Bahama, and more.

Menus

  • Spicy Blood Orange Margarita – $18.50

Review

Spicy Blood Orange Margarita – $18.50

Don Julio Reposado Tequila, Cointreau Liqueur, Ancho Reyes Chile Liqueur, blood orange sour mix, blood orange syrup, and lime juice

This beverage is a pleasant twist on the usual blood orange margarita. We liked most of the flavors, apart from the Chile liqueur, which was a little too strong for us personally. But if you are a spice lover, you would want to taste the Chile and would probably enjoy this more. This is great for people who want a more hardcore spicy beverage.

Menu

  • The Sanderson Sisters Caramel-Apple Pie Sundae – $6.49
  • Pumpkin Mickey Cone – $6.49

Reviews

Pumpkin Mickey Cone – $6.49

Marshmallow, chocolate soft-serve, pumpkin waffle cone, Halloween sprinkles, and a white chocolate piece

Hand holding an orange ice cream cone topped with a Mickey Mouse pumpkin candy—Halloween Food at Disney Springs.

The combination of marshmallow and chocolate ice cream is more rich than refreshing. If ice cream could ever be described as heavy, this would fit.

A hand holds a chocolate and vanilla swirl ice cream cone with festive Halloween Food sprinkles.

The flavors do work well together. The pumpkin cone has a light pumpkin flavor, though the decoration on the top is basic white chocolate. This is a nice treat, but very messy and hard to share.

Rating out of 7: 5

Sanderson Sisters Caramel Apple Pie Sundae – $6.49

Green apple soft-serve, caramel soft-serve, apple pie filling, streusel topping, Halloween sprinkles, and white chocolate décor

The combination of caramel and green apple works well. However, if you don’t like a strong green apple flavor, steer clear.

A hand holds Halloween Food soft serve ice cream in a waffle bowl with toppings, by Disney Springs on a sunny day.

The apple pie filling slices and streusel add a nice texture contrast. The decor is again standard white chocolate. At the same price as the cone, this sundae has much more substance and the presentation makes it easier to share

Haunted Mansion Portrait Bars – $19

Four chocolate ganache bars with flavors of chipotle, raspberry, salted caramel, and passion fruit

This set of four bars is themed to the Stretching Room portraits, with each bar being a different flavor. We have to give props for the exterior packaging, which has the classic wallpaper pattern and looks very fancy.

A hand holds a box of four illustrated lipsticks with haunted mansion themed designs at Disney Springs.

These are so pretty we almost felt bad eating them. Dynamite Guy is the chipotle flavor, which is both on-theme and very good if you like spicy desserts. Sally Slater, a.k.a. Tightrope Girl, is the raspberry flavor. The raspberry tasted real and did not have that faux berry bite at the end.

Four square pastries in a row on brown paper, perfect for Halloween food lovers at Disney Springs.

The trio in quick sand is the salted caramel flavor, which melts in your mouth. Finally Constance sitting on a tombstone is the passion fruit flavor. This would probably be our least favorite of the four, but it was still extremely good. Really, the issue is less about the quality or the chocolate and more what flavors you like.

Rating out of 7: 7

Poison Apple Chocolate Piñata – $28
Milk chocolate shell filled with cinnamon-apple marshmallows

A hand holds a green and red poison apple dome dessert—Halloween food spotted at Disney Springs under a clear sky.

This hollow orb comes packaged in a clear dome for travel, though we wouldn’t recommend attempting to carry it very far in the middle of a hot day. Either rush it home right away, or eat it right next to the store.

A Halloween food dessert shaped like a green poison apple sits on a black plate with sprinkles, on an orange metal table.

Perhaps because it was hot outside, ours did not shatter apart in the usual Piñata fashion, but rather bent around the hammer. We basically had to poke holes in the exterior chocolate.

A dessert shaped like an apple with green glaze sits on yellow candy balls at Disney Springs.

The exterior is just chocolate covered in fondant, but the chocolate is very, very good. The tree stump base is also edible and made of a darker, less sweet chocolate. The green pearls lining the bottom are crispy and crunchy, similar to a cereal treat.

Two chocolate squares with green skulls make spooky Halloween food beside berries on blue fabric.

The marshmallows stored in the interior are very creamy and soft. The apple flavor is more subtle, but the cinnamon provides a nice kick of spice. These were excellent.

You are definitely paying for the experience of this snack. Between the initial look, breaking it open, and digging out all the treats inside, this snack is just lots of fun and would be great for a group to share. Of course, the price is definitely high for the amount of actual food you get, but it was so entertaining and delicious that we didn’t care.

Rating out of 7: 7

Oogie Boogie Chocolate Toffee Bites – $16

Dark chocolate, ruby chocolate and house-made pumpkin-spiced toffee with crispy pearls

This treat comes with a neat Oogie Boogie bag that remains thankfully mess-free, since the toffee bites are wrapped on the inside. Again, the presentation of this snack is spot on, with the eyeballs and bugs topping the chocolate to match the theme.

Halloween food chocolate bark with candy eyes and gummy spiders, inspired by Disney Springs treats.

You get a definite smokiness and salt from the pumpkin toffee that tones down the sweetness just enough to be delicious. Our only note would be to remove the gummy worm; it doesn’t need to be there. In might sound blasphemous, but we like this better than the Disneyland toffee.

Rating out of 7: 7

Bourbon Pumpkin Spice Malted Chocolate Cooler – $18.50

A blend of dark, milk, and caramel chocolate with Knob Creek Small Batch Bourbon, malt, and pumpkin spice

A hand holds two small glass bottles of chocolate milk at Disney Springs near a waterfront, with people sitting in the background.

The smell and initial taste of this beverage is off-putting. It has a strong bite on the initial sip that feels bitter, but it mellows out as you keep drinking. It’s not bad, but we wouldn’t go out of our way to get it. Plus, drinking tons of chocolate milk is not always pleasant in the Florida heat.

Rating out of 7: 4

Pumpkin Spice Malted Chocolate Chiller – $10

A blend of three chocolates, malt, and pumpkin spice

Two glass bottles of chocolate milk held outdoors at Disney Springs, people and a lake blurred in the background.

This is essentially the same drink as above, minus the bourbon. We liked this much better. The nutmeg and pumpkin spice comes out more without the added ingredients. That being said, we gave them the same score because your preferences will vary depending on which flavors you like more.
