The EPCOT parking lot is undergoing resurfacing, and a large portion of it is currently closed, making it more difficult for guests to find parking.
Resurfacing Efforts
Crews are out at EPCOT working on resurfacing portions of the parking lot. When we arrived, the Moana section was closed off and unavailable for guest parking.
Construction cones and ropes line the area that is off limits as crews dig up the old pavement. Other vehicles are smoothing out the parking lot. One specific area of the lot has several construction cones surrounding it, suggesting additional repairs or resurfacing work may be needed there.

In the photos above, you can see the latest work next to the old pavement, which still has parking lines, arrows, and lines. Future work will repaint the markers on the new pavement.
Past EPCOT Parking Lot Work
The parking lot at EPCOT underwent a major transformation in 2023 with new names. Instead of “East” and “West”, lots are now categorized under “Earth” and “Space.”
Sections of the Earth lot are named Heihei, Moana, Crush, and Dory. Space lots include Wall-E, Eve, Rocket, and Gamora-themed sections.
Signs in each lot have character photos and row numbers to help you find your car easily. You can also use the “Car Locator” function in the My Disney Experience app.
