Disney has released a first look at Syndrome and Maleficent, who will be appearing during Oogie Boogie Bash 2025 at Disney California Adventure.
Syndrome at Oogie Boogie Bash 2025
Syndrome, known for his appearance in The Incredibles, will appear in Pixar Pier during Oogie Boogie Bash, which runs on select nights from August 17 through October 31.
Guests will be able to hear Syndrome’s “tactful plans and snarky quips” as they make their way through his treat trail near the Pixar Pier Band Shell. This will not only be the villain’s first appearance at Oogie Boogie Bash, but his Disney Parks debut.

Maleficent at Oogie Boogie Bash 2025
Maleficent from Sleeping Beauty will be making her return to Oogie Boogie Bash at Mountain Road in Grizzly Peak. Guests will witness “all the powers of her imagination” as they pass by to collect candy on her treat trail.

Other characters poised to attend this year’s event include Agatha Harkness, Ernesto de la Cruz, and Judge Doom.
